The ladies who attended had a chance to ask their own personal questions about their business structure and business finances to help them better plan which direction they were going to go in next with their businesses.
The information was very interactive and focused on more than just sharing information. We left with new information and resources for us to use in the future. Was so excited that I went to the speaker series. I love learning new information. Here are some of the conversation you missed:
- We explored business structure options by comparing them side by side
- We discussed the difference between a CPA and a Bookkeeper as it relates to choosing one for our business
- We learned about deductible and non- deductible business expenses and we all received a list of the items.
- And lastly we discussed which forms to file for tax time and how to apply for an LLC and EIN # and where to locate the forms.
As you can see you missed some good information to help you start laying a strong foundation for your business.
The Business Finance 101 speaker series left me pondering with where do I go next with HASU. Tanya suggested that HASU becomes a 501c3. Looking forward to developing my Strategic plan for 2014
Thank you Tanya for sharing over 20 years of tax and business finance experience with the HASU ladies and so appreciative of having you as a HASU member.
